Yogurt is the New Ice Cream (10 simple recipes to beat late-night cravings)

For all of these, it is entirely your choice whether you use natural yogurt (healthier) or vanilla yogurt (sweeter, and still better for you than ice cream). So get yourself a bowl of yogurt, and in order of healthiness from “fuck yes, I’m so healthy right now” to “I am staving off cravings for a chunky chocolate cookie ice cream with caramel syrup swirl”:

The Simple, Wholesome, Yogurt and Honey

  • Just a swirl of honey. So good. So pure.

Fuck Me Up With Berries, Fam

  • 1:1 ratio of yogurt to frozen berries.

Mixed Berries and Honey

  • 1:1 ratio of yogurt to frozen berries.
  • Swirl of honey to sweeten.

Choccy Yogurt

  • Spoonful of cocoa (or hot chocolate mix if you need it a little sweeter)

The Melbourne

  • Spoon of instant coffee, in a glass. Add the slightest dash of water to dissolve. Mix it through.

The Melbourne Hipster

  • The Melbourne, but add berries and a swirl of honey.

Mocha

  • The Melbourne, with a spoon of cocoa/hot chocolate mix stirred through.

Honey Mocha

  • The Mocha, but sweetened with honey. This is my personal favourite if I just need a warm hug in a bowl.

Straya Cunt

  • Two heaped tablespoons of Milo. Three if you just don’t fucking care anymore. Mix it through your yogurt.

Straya Cunt with Mixed Berries

  • Feeling bad for making the Straya cunt with three spoons of Milo? Just add berries! You’ll feel better if you do. Trust me.

  1. I like greek yogurt for the protein and richness. I eat plain greek yogurt topped with jam! Don’t mix it, just scoop a little jam with each spoonful of yogurt. Add fruit if desired.
